History of  HammondZone

 

 

 

hammond-organ.com (the HammondZone) was born in late 1998, started as a personal hobby due to a passion for the Hammond sound, Hammond history and the instruments in general. At the time the site was quickly adopted as the official United Kingdom website by Hammond UK, although funded, developed and maintained privately.

 

The website has since developed into one of the busiest Hammond/Leslie based sites on the internet, with more than 1 million visitors each month.

 

I hope you enjoy the contents of  HammondZone, as much as we enjoyed- and continue to enjoy researching and creating it.

 Directions (from M1 junc. 15)

From the M1 slip road take the A508 into Northampton on the dual carriageway. The road will bear around to the right after a few minutes, and under a couple of bridges. Look out for the signs indicating 60mph, you are now on the A45. Take the second exit off of the A45 (signposted Town Centre, Hospital, Abington, Bedford), On the slip road get into the middle lane. Take the second exit off of the roundabout (Rushmere road), the road bears to the left and roadsigns indicate 30mph (watch for the ACTIVE speed camera!) At the top of the hill turn LEFT at the traffic lights. Take the third road on the right (Wycliffe Road). We are located on the left hand corner of the next crossroad.
